New Nonstop Flight from Bellingham to Portland Starts This Month

There’s a new direct flight coming to Bellingham, and it’s a great addition for anyone who lives here. Starting today (March 19), Alaska Airlines is offering daily nonstop flights between Bellingham and Portland. The flight is about an hour, compared to the 3+ hours it takes now with the Seattle connection.

What Makes This Worth Noting

The schedule is simple and usable:

Depart Bellingham: 8:00 AM
Return options: between 3:00 and 10:45pm

That opens up easy day trips, quick overnights, and much smoother connections through Portland, which is one of the more efficient airports in the region.

Bellingham’s airport has always been one of those quiet advantages, easy to navigate, close to home, and far less stressful than larger hubs like Seattle or Vancouver.
